Phase I of the new 1,800-student Christopher High School, for 900 students, opened Fall 2009.
BCA collaborated with a community Steering Committee, District-wide user groups, the City of Gilroy, and the School Board to design the second comprehensive high school in the Town of Gilroy. BCA also worked with their District clients to obtain $15 million in additional funding through joint-use partnerships, career technical education and sustainable schools grants. The innovative design of the school balances the agrarian history of Gilroy with its Silicon Valley future.
