BCA’s clients receive $22 million additional funding
$22 million in CTE grants awarded to 3 California school districts

by BCA Staff

The State Allocation Board (SAB) awarded $15 million in matching funds to Campbell Union High School District, $4.4 million to Sweetwater Union High School District and $3 million to San Mateo Union High School District at this month’s regular SAB meeting through the Career Technical Education (CTE) grant program.

Recognizing limited staff and budget resources, these Districts utilized BCA’s grant writer to write the grants and guide the entire process required by the state’s CTE grant program.

CTE submissions included:

CAMPBELL UNION HS DISTRICT : Theater & Performing Arts Pathways at 5 sites, each with a new performing arts center - $15 million

SWEETWATER HIGH SCHOOL : Welding Technology Pathway - $1.4 million

CHULA VISTA HIGH SCHOOL : Theater and Performing Arts Pathway – $3 million

SAN MATEO HIGH SCHOOL : Biotechnology Research & Development Pathway - $3 million
(BCA provided schematic drawings to support the grant written by SMUHSD)
